Chocolate Tour of DC
By Mary Boswell on November 4, 2013
I took the tour on Saturday Nov. 2 and can't say enough good things about this. Our guide Sam was very knowledgeable about chocolate as well as about each place we visited. She was very pleasant and we never felt rushed through any of the boutiques. I would have taken the tour again with her. The selection of different types of chocolates was very good showing us the different textures, complexities and flavors between the places we visited. The owners/managers of each were very friendly and welcoming. Our group of about 15 was a great group with lots of stories and fun. I did not hear one complaint, only compliments. I have recommended this tour to all my friends. Mary
Almost perfect!!!
By Jane Pierson on September 19, 2013
Rob, our tour guide, was just great. He regaled us with historical tales of Georgetown and the entire region. The stops on the tour, with one notable exception, were perfect. This is something any chocolate lover should do! The disappointing stop was at Marvelous Market. The chocolate babka was yesterday's, or perhaps Tuesday's chocolate babka. I warmed mine in the microwave which helped a little, but it was dry and stale. No value added with that stop. I hope you can substitute another one.

Participated in this tour today. Had a blast! Enjoyed the chocolate indulgences and seeing Georgetown. Our tour guide Linda was wonderful! Definitely recommend this to anyone who loves chocolate. "The Chocolate Tour of Washington DC will take you to chocolate paradise and beyond..." My small group had so much fun, we plan on another unguided trip in the spring to shop, but will be stopping by a couple of these establishments for sure!
Great day!

This tour was great! It was a lovely day to walk around Georgetown and the tour led us around some very nice neighborhoods. You get a taste of Georgetown as well as the chocolate which was excellent by the way. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and made the tour very fun! She certainly knew her hidden gems and little known facts! I would definitely recommend this tour to a friend!
Great experience

My husband I loved the tour! Our tour guide was sweet and knowledgeable of the Georgetown area. She showed us some great secrets of the area. The samples were generous and by the end of the tour I could not have eaten any more!! Would definitely recommend.
