The Cupcake & Macaron Tour of Edinburgh Itinerary

  • Bibi's Bakery Marvellous meringues, scrumptious cupcakes and delectable macarons. Literally the most mouth watering treats that Edinburgh has to offer.
  • Patisserie Valerie This patisseries juicy macarons hit the spot - Belgique c'est magnifique!
  • Mademoiselle Macaron at Lickety Splits Exquisite perfection is high praise indeed, but the Mademoiselle lives up to her reputation with ease. Come taste her macarons to find out exactly why we just had to have this rising star on the tour.
  • Mimi's Picnic Parlour A family run business with a stunning reputation. Edinburgh just can't get enough of Mimi's naughty indulgences. Time for you to find out what all the fuss is about!
  • Pinnies and Poppy seeds Putting shortbread back on the map, Pinnies do things with the traditional biscuit that you just can't imagine. A brilliant take on the original Scottish treat.

Edinburgh cupcake and macaroon tour
By Antony Grant on April 7, 2014
Took my wife for her birthday because she loves baking. We were both impressed at the amount of samples. Thankfully had a wee Baggie to get us home. Enjoyed the cupcake from Cuckoo's the most which we enjoyed with a cup of coffee after the tour. My wife liked Pinnies and Poppy Seeds. The shortbread was yummy. The guide Jenny made the experience really enjoyable. She really knew her Edinburgh history. Such a nice person too!
They Cancelled it with less than 48 hrs notice!
By Aileen on February 28, 2014
Absolute JOKE. Was supposed to be going tomorrow and they phoned at 10 pm last night to cancel the tour! We had already bought train tickets from Dundee to Edinburgh for the tour and they were expensive. Terms and conditions state we cannot cancel if less than 48 hours notice. Apparently they can! I am disgusted as we now have to go to Edinburgh and will be there all day with nothing to do. I have arranged to do my own tour. Thanks a lot.
