Sensory delight! Boutique Artisan Chocolatier walking tour
    By Clare M on October 7, 2015
The tour began with a sparkling introduction from the effervescent Jasmine. We whet our appetites with sneaky appetizer at the cupcake family in QV. It was great to hear about the history of Red Cape Lane. We stopped at 5 or 6 different boutique Artisan Chocolatier during our walking tour on Valentine's day. Every one was divine! Chokolait in Emporium stood out for its delicious aroma and jewelry box style display cases. Jasmine was the perfect combo of hostess & guide, we learned heaps about the arcades and laneways as we wove our way around them. I loved learning to taste chocolate like wine - almost meditative! With no hard sell and up to 15% off in each shop I got some lovely gift boxes. It was an interesting and enjoyable way to see and savour Melbourne. Highly recommended!
Cupcake and Macaron Tour by Great Food Tours

My partner and I did a Cupcake and Macaron Tour with Great Food Tours on Sat (13/12/14) and we had a great time! Our tour guide Jasmine was very knowledgeable of CBD Melbourne sharing various facts I never knew about Melbourne and I'm a Melbournian. Jasmine was also very amusing and entertaining. She was upbeat and a lot of fun to talk to in between walks to different tasting places. The tour itself was also great because I had a chance to discover new macaron and cupcakes places I've never been to before! I highly recommend this tour to everyone. I just hope that you will get Jasmine as the tour guide because she is awesome! :)

    A fantastic afternoon out!”

Our guide, Rebecca was warm and informative, without being overbearing. She managed a very large group with ease, allowed some flexibility with shopping and staying a bit longer and took us to fantastic places. It was also great to have a discount at some of the places, which meant we were able to share the love at home! Highly recommend this, not just for the food but to see more of our amazing city of Melbourne, with its 'raucous' past and interesting hideaways. Thanks for a great experience, Rebecca.

Fun two hours walking through the back, side and main streets of Melbourne. Our host, Juliana was fantastic and knowledgeable about both the city of Melbourne and chocolate making. There were plenty of stops for sweet, sweet chocolate sampling and buying and a good pace was set for all ages. Melbourne didn't put on its finest weather but we had a great time anyway. Thank you.
