Lots of Food!
By 5CUBEZ on September 27, 2015
My wife and I have visited Chicago on numerous occasions and have taken multiple food tours. Most recently we took the Italian Food Tour with Great Food Tours.

We visited 5 locations in just over 2 hours. There was not as much walking on this tour as we have experienced in the past, and we would have enjoyed more history/interesting facts about the location, area, or restaurants we were visiting.

There is a very large amount of food on this tour.....Italian Beef sandwich, Meatball sandwich, deep dish pizza, and an Italian rice ball (the size of your fist)....finishing with a small cup of gelato.

Jason was our guide and was extremely friendly and accommodating to our group.

Beverages are not included, so consider bringing a water bottle or be prepared to purchase drinks at the location.

Good Food and Great Guides

My husband and I had the Italian food tour with Eddie and the Chicago one with Jeff. Both were awesome individuals that liked having fun. The stops were great as well. I really enjoyed the information Eddie gave and the little of Chicago history he covered and how Jeff pointed out the Hancock window that pops out. Both were awesome.
Italian food tour was a blast and loads of food!

Adi or Eddie, I'm not sure of the spelling but he was a fantastic guide! He went out of his way to make sure we had the best experience on the Italian food tour on Saturday 2/28/15 in Chicago. He clearly knows his history, food and city. Will likely book another tour in the future in hopes of having him again.

I didn't know what to expect with a Food Tour, but Seth instantly set the tone and made it fun! His enthusiasm is simply contagious! I can't wait to come back!
Great Food, Good Times

Seth was our tour guide on the Italian Food Tour and he was full of fun facts for the restaurants and surrounding area. There was lots of food left over and it was also awesome to see him giving the leftovers to those facing a cold day on the street. My husband enjoyed the whole experience and we would encourage others to go on this tour on an empty stomach or else you will tap out quickly.
